Objet autonome numérique, intégrant un écran ou un vidéo-projecteur et un ordinateur miniature (série de 4 différents en français, et 5 différents en anglais).
Il fonctionne en continu, générant une composition visuelle de différentes phrases défilant chacune à son rythme et inscrite avec une couleur différente.
Chacune des phrases est en fait la toute première phrase de la quatrième de couverture d’un ouvrage lié à un champ du savoir (pouvant aller de la médecine au jardinage en passant par la philosophie, la cuisine, etc.) Ces phrases ont pour point commun d’énoncer une généralité concernant leur domaine, et sont toujours tirées des sites web de diffusion et de vente de livres.
Existe en versions française et anglaise.

It works continuously, generating a layout made of different sentences scrolling at their own rythhm and displayed with their own colour.
Each sentence of is actually the very first sentence from the back cover of a book about a field of knowledge (it can goes from medicine to gardening via philosophy, cooking, etc.) Those sentences have in common the enunciation of a generality in their domain, and are always found on websites promoting and selling books.
