Objet sonore.
Il s’agit d’un seau de chantier, en apparence non modifié (mais muni d’un double fond en tissu acoustique). En attrapant le seau par son anse, le visiteur sans le savoir déclenche une bande son, jouée dans le fond du seau.
Une voix enfantine déroule une ritournelle où il est question de remplir, déplacer, vider, transvaser… La bande son utilise l’effet du délai (sorte d’écho) et petit à petit le seau se remplit de mots, jusqu’à la submersion.
Le son est doux et directif, il n’est pas question de sonoriser le lieu mais de proposer une écoute personnelle. Le visiteur peut, durant l’écoute, se déplacer librement avec les seau (ou pas) ; quand il repose le seau tout s’arrête (jusqu’à ce qu’un autre visiteur soulève le seau par son anse).

Sound object.
Je remplis (meaning « I am filling ») looks like construction bucket, apparently unmodified (but a fake bottom made of acoustic fabric). By taking the bucket by its handle, the spectator unknowingly triggers a soundtrack that is played by the bottom of the bucket.
A childish voice unfolds a ritornello where it is a question of filling, moving, emptying, transferring … This soundtrack uses the sound effect of the delay (kind of echo) and little by little the bucket fills with words, until to submersion.
The sound is rather soft and directive, it is not about to sound the place but to offer a personal listening. The spectator, during this listening moment, can move at will (or not); when he lays the bucket down, everything stops automatically (until the next person lifting the bucket by his handle).
